We're Pasha & Michelle. Layered Home started with rugs, but it quickly became about something more personal: helping people find pieces that actually work in the rooms they live in.
Most people who message us are not just looking for any rug, table, or artwork. They are trying to make a space feel warmer, softer, more finished, or easier to live with. That is the part we care about.
We still handle the work ourselves — sourcing, photographing, answering room-photo questions, arranging pickup and delivery, and offering home styling consultations when a space needs more direction.
The photography, styling, and product selection are our own, and every review came from a real local buyer. The business is personal, direct, and built on trust.

Anchor the seating area.
For most living rooms, the rug should sit under at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs so the seating feels connected.
Let the rug show around the bed.
A bedroom rug usually works best when it extends beyond the sides and foot of the bed, so the room feels softer and more balanced.
Keep chairs on the rug.
For dining rooms, leave enough rug around the table so chairs still sit on the rug when pulled back.
